Description
The Iowa Association of School Boards (IASB) Leadership Academy is a training program to provide school board members with the skills and knowledge they need to be effective state-level advocates and leaders for equity and excellence in student achievement.
The Leadership Academy is available to school board or AEA board members who have demonstrated leadership ability both on their local board and in their community. Enrollment is limited to ensure that each participant receives quality attention and development. The selection process will strive for ethnic and cultural diversity in each class, involving men and women of varied district sizes and encouraging representation from each of IASB’s nine Director Districts.
